Kelly (Kellipak) started to carve at age 14 and learned with his brother, Allashua Atsiaq. He has been exhibiting since the mid-1970s and his work was included in the major touring exhibition "Masters of the Arctic: An Exhibition of Contemporary Inuit Masterworks" (1989). In 2002, Kelly was selected to design a monumental Inukshuk in Toronto, Ontario’s Battery Park to commemorate World Youth Day in Toronto. His art often reflects the human/spirit relationship and transformations.
