Jomie Aipeelee

Date of Birth: September 11th, 1963 in Iqaluit, NU
Residence: Iqaluit
Jomie began to carve when he was 15 years old and started carving seriously when he was 22. Following the traditional Inuit way of life, Jomie spends much time on the land and hunting for seals, caribou, geese and other wildlife. He likes to carve an array of wildlife but particularly the musk-ox as did his father, Seepee Ipeelie, and grandfather Nooveya Ipeelie.
